Stef has over 20 years’ experience in the licensed trade and I am a BIIAB Licenced Trade Assessor, with many years’ experience in the short term accommodation property market.
Our main objective is to make The Oddies a safe, comfortable, welcoming and fun place to be – but we also have ongoing plans to improve our offering. We have completed and opened a large sunny beer garden and expanded our accommodation to create a Boutique Hostelry offering for international tourists who are now visiting Manchester in their millions each year. In addition, we will be introducing food soon and expanding the range of events we offer.
Our customers are known to be very friendly at The Oddies and as the local saying goes ‘You may enter The Oddies a stranger but you will leave as a friend’. Indeed, Stef and I were regular customers ourselves for 13 years before taking over – making a 12 mile round trip to be among the friends we made here. Some come from even further afield!
